Evaluation:
Evaluation will be contractual and based on the following assignments:
1. Weekly contributions made to the group web log giving your informed opinion on the topic of the week and comments on other blog entries.
2 Individual webblog developed as a working portfolio and evidence of your major learnings from the course. Develop a question bank of multiple choice items using the 14 categories as outlined in Bott.
3. Develop and administer an evaluation plan and include test items to assess learning in three domains of learning, cognitive, affective and psychomotor.
4. A 5-8 page analytical paper on a topic from the list developed in class. Using APA format, this paper will be assessed according to rubric.
The overall mark for the class will be based on the amount of work challenged and completed.
D= class participation and completion of task 1
C= class participation and completion of tasks 1 and 2 above.
B= class participation, and completion of tasks 1, 2 and 3 above
A= Class participation and completion of tasks 1,2, 3 and 4 above.
Tasks at each level must be substantially complete. If any task is incomplete the grade below will be awarded. (eg Completion of any two tasks will be graded as C) An absence will result in a penalty of one letter grade for each day.
Class work for credit must be completed by 12:00 noon, xx/xx/xxxx.
